Abstract:

Let's take a satirical look at Project Management. Since you won’t listen to good advice? How about some bad advice? You know you’re going to do it anyway. It’s easy to blame others for your problems so here are a few more to consider. This isn’t the Boy Scout's view of Project Management. This will focus on the ugly, but the ugly can be funny. So bring your war stories and be prepared to share. It's cheaper than therapy. We will identify the principles of bad management and then offer some insight into behaviors we have observed, their leadership style, and methods deployed. We will discuss various personality types, not those usually listed in books on business like “The Wise Old Owl” but rather those encountered like “The Pitbull”.
